BharaChukkki Waterfalls at ShivanaSamudram,Karnataka. Shivanasamudram is a small town in Mandya district at Karnataka. It is situated on the banks of the river Kaveri and is the location of the first Hydro-Electric Power Station in Asia. Monochrome Clouds

A monochrome cloudscape snap from Dakshineswar Ghat (Kolkata). I was heading to our frequent destination Belur accompanied by my friend Piyali. We were about to ride a boat to Belur from Dakshineswar Ghat when I noticed this excellent cloudscape over Ganges. I had took a snap in normal mode. But later I convert it t monochrome using Adobe Photoshop for experiment purpose.

The Observer

Again a snap from my Digha tour. Taken it on Udaipur beach while roaming around. The boats were aligned on the beach after a hard and tough night of fishing. But the smell of fish brought a large number of crows to the site. I am lucky to capture one of them when he/she was busy in observing the beach.

Rest of Water Fighters

Fisher boats resting in the beach after a long tireful night of fishing in deep sea. They are the real partner of thousands of fisherman of Digha who are risking their life continuously by fishing in deep fearful sea in stormy nights.

Digha: Splash

Around 12:30 pm we arrived Digha. A long journey from Kolkata and some tire punctures :P made us really tired. But before checking in to the hotel, I rushed to the sea shore to feel the cold salty wind. And as usually my camera was with me which help me to take this snap. The waves were really splashing against the shore continuously. So I named this pic as Splash :)
