Peace in Black & White

Info:
For the past 2-3 weeks I was quite busy with job and trainings. Those things will eat so much of your time that you can't give time to the things which you really want. But one day, one of my friend(basically friend's friend) helps me to remember that something is missing there. He helps me to remember that I haven't capture single good pic for atleast 1 month. So I take my cam with me and capture this flower on the way to my office. Weather was too cloudy and consequestly there was lot of grain in the background in the picture. So I thought it would be better if I do some post processing. I made it black & white and cloned the background to black. It really helps to make the flower more prominent.

Seasonal Beauty

White flowers are always very soothing. I think so. And if there is some pink tint in the white petals and a red dot at the middle then what could be the better? With green background, this bunch of seasonal flowers will attract any passer-by for sure.

Roadside Refresher

After a long time, I am back with some photos. Presently I am in Bangalore, working in Accenture as Associate Software Engineer. So the upcoming photos will have the essence of Bangalore.

In morning, I just went for a breakfast to a shop. I took my cam with me and got this roadside beauty. I am feeling ashamed of myself that I don't know the names of these magnificent flowers. I am looking forward to the fact if someone shares its name with me. I have shot some more photos, but will share those in the coming posts.
Good Day...

Info:
This photo was taken on 19th Jul, 2009. On that day I was in a mood to explore new areas. So I took my Nikon L10 and my dad's old bicycle and went for a ride. I reached a place known as "beraberi" which was nearly 15-20 min ride from my house. There was a crop field from which a clear vision of sky was available. I was quite happy to see the clear blue sky and waited for a nice sunset.

The Observer

Again a snap from my Digha tour. Taken it on Udaipur beach while roaming around. The boats were aligned on the beach after a hard and tough night of fishing. But the smell of fish brought a large number of crows to the site. I am lucky to capture one of them when he/she was busy in observing the beach.

♥ in the Rainy Sky..

There was a large black cloud coming from the north. After a hot summer in Kolkata, those clouds brought a slight hope in everyone's mind. After coming back from office, I hurried to the rooftop with my cam and then I got this view of watery clouds. I had never thought that the clouds will contain a heart sign within it. But after transferring the snap to computer, I realized that A heart sign was there...

Triptych Capture

Previously I didn’t know about Polyptych photography. But day before yesterday, when I was searching for some photoblogs, I was stunned by a snap. The concept was marvelous [Take a look at http://blog.alfiegoodrich.com/index.php?showimage=447]. And from that photo I became aware of polyptych photos. So I quickly scan through my old snaps and got these series of photos of aerobics performed by my brother at Digha beach. I adjusted the photos in Photoshop and made this one (for experiment purpose).
